Eventide
Sri Lanka
This new track Eventide has a really cool journey to it.
I love that immersive intro. it sets a great mood before shifting into that rock vibe, and the transition between the two works seamlessly. You’ve done a great job capturing a raw, organic feel here; honestly, it’s refreshing to hear something with this much grit and character given how over-polished a lot of modern pop has become.
To really push this to the next level, I’d love to see you lean even harder into the dynamic range of the instrumentation. Because the song is on the longer side, it needs those "peaks and valleys" to keep the listener locked in. Specifically, around the two-minute mark in the bridge, things feel a bit flat right now. There’s a big opportunity there to create a moment. Whether that’s stripping the instruments back for a dramatic drop or layering them up to make it feel massive. Right now, it’s just missing that "event" to break up the flow.
On the technical side, I think the mix could benefit from a warmer, fuller low-end. Bringing out some of those deeper frequencies would help ground the track and make the overall tone feel even more immersive. Adding those extra layers of dynamic instrumentation would really help justify the song's length and keep the momentum building toward a climax.
Overall, this is a really strong, honest piece of work. You’ve got a great foundation here, and with a bit more focus on those dynamic shifts, it’s going to be huge. Thanks for sharing this!I’m definitely looking forward to hearing what’s next!
