Andie Yagher
Andie Yagher is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She first began writing music shortly after learning guitar, and started performing at a very young age. Music has always been a critical element of Andie’s creative life. With a blend of an acoustic pop, folk, and country sound, she strives to shed light on heartbreak as well as joy from new perspectives. Andie attended the Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles where she was a member of the HW Jazz Ensemble and HW Jazz Singers. As an actress, she received the 2021 National YoungArts Foundation award for Theatre. The year before, she received the 2020 National YoungArts Foundation Award for Dramatic Writing, and has seen her plays performed in a few venues, including The Blank Theatre’s National Young Playwrights Festival. She is a 2024 graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in New York, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Film and Theatre. With her music, Andie hopes to connect with audiences of disparate experiences and backgrounds. For Andie, music is an escape, but also a way to bring people together and share in vulnerable and meaningful experiences. She is so incredibly grateful to anyone and everyone who enjoys her sound!
