Daisy Peacock

Indie-pop artist Daisy Peacock returns with heartfelt yet danceable new single The Middle, out 8th of April 2026 via AWAL.

Charmingly personal lyricism, yet universally relatable, ‘The Middle’ is an upbeat anthem for those who struggle to move on from their past.

“I wrote the song in one evening, in a bit of an internal fight between self sabotage and moving on after a brush with an ex.”

Produced by previous collaborator Jamie Sellers (platinum selling producer, with credits including Ed Sheeran and Elton John) ‘The Middle’ is a sparkly, candid reflection on what could have been.

Peacock says- “This song is definitely my most vulnerable yet- which is scary but weirdly thrilling! I’m really proud to see it coming out to the world.”

2026 sees Peacock and band playing a debut headline show at Birmingham’s iconic Sunflower Lounge in April, as well as a slot at Truck Festival in July on the back of a successful 2025 when she debuted at Tramlines and YNOT, amongst other UK festivals.

Since her 2023 debut single ‘You Don’t Want Me Enough’ earned her a top 10 spot in both Song Academy’s Young Songwriter Competition 2024 and Citrus Records’ Songs Of The Year list, Peacock has gone from strength to strength within the indie-pop scene. Having recently supported the likes of Badly Drawn Boy, Alfie Jukes, daydreamers, and Courtney Hadwin at venues across the country, as well as playing at Radio 1’s Jodie Bryant’s ‘New Music Monday’ night.
