Wild Horse
Moments
ROCK
Sonic Landscape: Indie Pop-Rock, Funk-Infused Grooves, Retro-Modern Crossover
For Fans Of: The 1975, Harry Styles, Fleetwood Mac, Blossoms
Kicking off their release calendar with an absolute explosion of vibrant energy, East Sussex indie heavyweights Wild Horse return with their magnificent new single, "Moments." Formed by brothers Jack and Henry Baldwin with lifelong friend Ed Barnes—and beautifully rounded out by Jade Snowdon—the powerhouse outfit has spent years dominating the BBC Introducing airwaves. Written by frontman Jack Baldwin alongside drummer Ed Barnes, "Moments" acts as a bold, genre-blending canvas that effortlessly weaves together country, folk, rock, and pop. It showcases a band operating at the absolute peak of their musical chemistry, successfully translating their legendary, high-energy live-show swagger directly into a polished studio masterpiece.
Production & Instrumental Brilliance
From the very first downbeat, "Moments" thrives on exceptionally tight, punchy drum tracking that locks straight into a driving, danceable pocket. Laying down a rock-solid foundation, the rhythm section allows the song's signature element to truly shine: the guitar work. The track features a spectacular, sparkling guitar tone that weaves throughout the entire arrangement, injecting the mix with a bright, sun-drenched texture that is utterly impossible to resist.
The production value is further elevated by the brilliant inclusion of subtle, elegant piano accents. These keys add a gorgeous layer of sophisticated depth, perfectly framing the instrumentation without ever crowding the frequency spectrum.
Structurally, the song transitions flawlessly into a massive, brilliantly written chorus. The hook is instantly uplifting, carrying a soaring, anthemic quality that immediately triggers a wave of serotonin. The contrast between the tight, groove-heavy verses and the wide-open pop sensibility of the chorus highlights the band's sharp pop sensibilities, drawing effortless comparison to the sleek, hook-driven architecture of modern icons like The 1975 and Harry Styles.
Thematic Narrative & Perspective
Lyrically, "Moments" explores the complex breakdown of a romantic relationship, driven by the sudden, sharp realization that there was never anything truly holding the foundation together in the first place. What makes the track so compelling, however, is its emotional maturity. Rather than wallowing in bitter heartbreak, "Moments" is fundamentally about perspective. The narrative beautifully reframes the collapse into a moment of pure understanding—turning confusion into clarity, and ultimately arriving at a place of empowering acceptance and forward movement.
Conclusion
Ultimately, "Moments" is a triumphant, pristine release from Wild Horse that completely solidifies their status as one of the UK’s most exciting rising acts. By dressing a mature, analytical breakup story in an infectious cloak of sparkling guitars, punchy drums, and an incredibly uplifting chorus, they have crafted a definitive summer anthem. It is a masterfully engineered, premium slice of indie pop-rock that is guaranteed to keep crowds on their feet and leave listeners hitting repeat all season long.

Kadeus
Dis-moi
INDIE ROCK
Sonic Landscape: Cinematic Indie-Pop, Avant-Garde Bass Music, Ambient French Pop
Releasing as one of the most emotionally devastating and significant milestones in their catalog, Swiss bass music collective Kadeus delivers an absolute masterpiece of vulnerable storytelling with their breathtaking single, "Dis-moi." Known across the European electronic landscape for blending heavy, cinematic sound design with deep basslines, the group takes a deliberate, highly courageous step outside of their creative comfort zone with this release. Moving away from their strictly melodic electronic foundation, the collective delivers an indie-pop oriented single that tackles a subject of profound tragedy: a father remembering cherished moments with his child after an agonizing loss. Addressed with an extraordinary level of sensitivity and sincerity, "Dis-moi" stands as definitive evidence of Kadeus's artistic maturity, prioritizing raw emotional truth above all else.
Vocal Production & Sound Design
The defining crown jewel of "Dis-moi" is its otherworldly vocal arrangement. Sung entirely in French, the vocals possess a uniquely angelic, haunting quality that reaches far beyond the boundaries of standard commercial pop. The production team treats the vocal line with a striking level of grandeur, giving it a powerful, near-spiritual presence in the mix that perfectly mirrors the infinite weight of grief and the enduring bonds of a parent’s love.
Throughout the entire runtime, the track is packed with brilliant vocal effects that function as top-tier auditory candy. These meticulous processing choices—ranging from subtle pitch modulations and ethereal delays to sweeping, ghostly reverbs—float across the stereo field like fleeting memories. It is a stunning display of creative sound design that keeps the listener completely hypnotized while reinforcing the song's themes of absence and echoing voids.
Instrumental & Rhythm Engineering
Kadeus's elite roots in bass music shine through brilliantly in the rhythmic manipulation of the track. The percussion arrangement is structurally flawless, utilizing a fascinating dynamic contrast between the movements:
The Verses: The drums here are tightly controlled, intimate, and treated with a tasteful touch of digital distortion. This gritty, broken texture perfectly matches the raw, fractured vulnerability of the storytelling, keeping the listener focused on the quiet, conversational sorrow of the performance.
The Choruses: When the track transitions into the main hooks, the rhythm section undergoes a massive transformation. The drums explode into wide, colossal, and completely open soundscapes. This sudden release of rhythmic power provides a spectacular emotional surge, giving a physical, driving heartbeat to an otherwise ethereal canvas.
Conclusion
Ultimately, "Dis-moi" is a towering, high-quality triumph that masterfully bridges the gap between raw human emotion and innovative electronic power. Kadeus has achieved something incredibly rare: they have crafted an electronic indie-pop track about deep, unimaginable sorrow that feels intensely intimate yet cinematically massive. By pairing an angelic, effect-laden vocal performance with masterfully distorted and explosive drum arrangements, the Swiss collective has delivered an essential, deeply moving anthem. It is a track that lingers in the soul long after the final note fades, cementing Kadeus as true boundary-pushing artists of the highest caliber.

Interlocking flawlessly with this wall of choral sound is a heavy, deliberate drum pattern. THIS IS NOW
ALTERNATIVE POP
Austrian-born, British-based vocalist Ferdinand Rennie continues to prove exactly why he remains such a deeply respected and formidable force in contemporary ballad music. With his latest original single, "THIS IS NOW," Rennie tackles a piece drawn from the American musical LOVING. The track dives headfirst into the heavy, painful realities of deep loss, severe heartbreak, and the turbulent, non-linear process of emotional healing. Elevated by a staggering, cinematic production team, the single establishes a profound emotional atmosphere that feels intimate, reflective, and fiercely sincere.
Production & Structural Build
Before hitting play, you might naturally think to yourself, "I’m emotionally capable, I can handle whatever this track throws at me." But the exact moment the play button is released, you realize just how beautifully soft, delicate, and disarming the song truly is.
Rather than overwhelming the listener upfront, the instrumentation is kept intentionally clean, sparse, and simple at the beginning. This restraint allows Rennie’s warm, experienced, and velvety voice to take absolute center stage. In this opening act, the delivery feels incredibly intimate—almost as if Rennie is sitting across from you in an empty, dimly lit room, talking directly to you about his deepest, most haunting regrets. You can vividly hear every single ounce of grief, lived-in wisdom, and sorrow in his tone as he meticulously sets up the narrative framework.

As the orchestral arrangement reaches its boiling point, the track explodes into a series of massive, powerful choruses. Here, Rennie transitions effortlessly into a glorious pop-classical crossover style, showcasing an astonishing vocal range and a commanding stage presence.
The absolute highlight of the performance is his execution of the song’s signature long, high-held notes. He holds these demanding pitches with absolute precision, stability, and raw power, injecting a thrilling dose of theatrical adrenaline straight into the heart of the mix. It is a masterclass in breath control and emotional projection, fully capturing the grand, larger-than-life essence of musical theater while retaining the accessible, hook-driven sensibility of a commercial pop ballad.

A Project Called Love
Smack Dab In The Middle
Injecting a refreshing wave of warmth and rhythm into the indie scene, A Project Called Love delivers a deeply captivating listener experience with their latest single, "Smack Dab In The Middle." Seamlessly blending a laid-back, acoustic reggae vibe with an undeniable commercial groove, the track thrives on organic textures and an effortless, feel-good atmosphere. It is a song that feels instantly familiar yet creatively distinct, making it an excellent addition to chill, sunny afternoon rotations or indie-fusion playlists.
Production & Arrangement Analysis
The structural pacing of "Smack Dab In The Middle" is exceptionally well-handled. One of the song's greatest strengths is how the individual sections jump effortlessly from one to another. This seamless navigation between movements injects a vibrant, dynamic energy into the track, keeping the momentum lively and the listener fully engaged.
Instrumentally, the song is grounded by a brilliantly mixed rhythm section. The bass guitar is beautifully warm and round, walking along the beat with a soulful cadence that acts as the track’s true emotional anchor. To complement this acoustic groove, the guitar solo and bridge section introduce a fantastic, chill break. This movement functions flawlessly as a sonic reset, offering a relaxed breathing room that heightens the song’s atmospheric charm before guiding the listener back into the core rhythm.
Vocal Placement & Mix Optimization
While the natural vibe and instrumentation of the track are highly impressive, executing a few tactical mixing adjustments could push the production to a fully competitive, commercial level:
Vocal Hierarchy and Fader Levels: Currently, the lead vocals sit a bit nestled within the instrumental landscape. To maximize the impact of the lyrical delivery, the lead vocals would benefit from being pushed a touch more forward in the mix hierarchy, allowing them to sit clearly in front of the instruments.
Enhancing Transient Punch: To further elevate the track's groovy foundation, exploring a slightly punchier overall mix technique would be highly advantageous. Nudging the transients of the acoustic percussion and the kick drum to snap through the warm bass line just a fraction more will sharpen the track’s definition, giving it a modern pop edge while fully preserving its authentic reggae spirit.
Conclusion
"Smack Dab In The Middle" is an incredibly strong, high-quality release from A Project Called Love. It beautifully highlights the group's sharp arrangement instincts and foundational groove. By implementation of a few minor level adjustments to give the vocals and drums an extra forward punch, this track is entirely ready to stand out as a definitive summer anthem.

While the overall framework of this production is undeniably great, executing a few strategic mix adjustments could elevate the track's impact from a sophisticated indie release to a peak-time club weapon:
Pushing the Energy Threshold: To match the euphoric nature of the drops, the track would benefit from pushing the overall energy and compression levels even harder. Giving the master bus a touch more drive will make the entire sonic landscape feel grander and more aggressive during its peak moments.
Enhancing Transient Punch: To maximize the song's dancefloor potential, sharpening the transient punch of the core elements would be highly effective. Increasing the transient snap on the kick drum and letting the low-end sub frequencies hit even louder will give the groove a heavier, more physical impact, making the entire track feel bolder and more impactful when the main drops hit.
Conclusion
"Dream Without Sleep" stands as a highly impressive, beautifully balanced showcase of Ava Fyre’s immense talent as an electronic producer. It perfectly captures her unique ability to blend deep, sensual vocals with hypnotic grooves and cinematic scope. By amping up the final punch and loudness to let the groove slam even harder, this track is fully equipped to dominate the global techno scene and leave a lasting impression on listeners worldwide.

Attack the Sound
Let It Out
RETRO SOUL
Bringing a massive dose of energy and sophisticated musicianship to the table, alternative soul collective Attack the Sound strikes absolute gold with their track "Let It Out." This song is a masterclass in rhythm-driven arrangement, perfectly capturing a high-octane, groove-oriented vibe that grips the listener from the very first downbeat. It seamlessly bridges the gap between old-school funk-soul sensibilities and a modern, high-energy alternative pop flair, making it an undeniable standout that demands a high volume.
The foundation of the track relies on a bass groove that is absolutely killing, anchoring the entire pocket with incredible attitude and flawless timing. Elevating the arrangement further is a brilliant horn section that injects a spectacular extra touch of class and vibe, giving the instrumentation a lush, expansive brass landscape. Structurally, the duet aspect between the two lead singers is a phenomenal creative choice. Their vocal chemistry is palpable, trading lines effortlessly and contrasting tones in a way that keeps the listener entirely engaged. The entire track leans heavily on an incredibly well-crafted overall arrangement, showcasing a band that completely understands how to build dynamic tension.
This compositional prowess is on full display during the bridge breakdown section, which intentionally slows down the tempo to offer a beautiful, necessary change of pace. It acts as a stellar sonic reset before the final climax. Throughout the performance, the vocal ad-lib effects serve as fantastic ear candy, meticulously panned across the stereo field and treated with a gritty radio effect that adds excellent texture and modern flavor to the mix.
To push this stellar production into a completely bulletproof commercial territory, a few minor level adjustments could be explored according to personal taste:
Drum Definition & Punch: The overall rhythm section is incredibly tight, but the track would benefit from having the core beat punch through the wall of sound just a fraction more. Giving the transient snap of the snare and the low-end thud of the kick a bit more prominence would help drive the high-energy groove even harder over the heavy bassline and brass.
Gang Vocal Blend: The "Let it out" gang vocal moments work incredibly well and provide an amazing, anthemic shout-along feature. However, as a matter of mix preference, tucking those specific crowd vocals slightly lower in the overall blend would keep them cohesive without overwhelming the pristine lead duet lines.
Ultimately, Attack the Sound has delivered a brilliantly executed, fiery anthem with "Let It Out." It highlights their razor-sharp arrangement instincts, exceptional vocal talent, and undeniable groove, marking a massive triumph that will easily ignite any live crowd or streaming playlist.

Mark Wink
Gimme Some Sugar
ROCK POP
A true testament to a great melody is its ability to adapt and thrive across entirely different musical backdrops, and Austria’s innovative producer Mark Wink proves this beautifully with his project "Sugar Sweet" (also known as "Sugar Sugar"). Harnessing a unique blend of technical expertise and creative experimentation, Wink pulls off an ambitious feat by reimagining a single, irresistibly catchy core idea across seven entirely distinct genres—challenging the traditional boundaries of single-track rollouts and showcasing his versatility as a modern digital artist.
The origin story of the track adds a wonderful layer of human charm to its high-tech execution. Conceived during a vacation in the Maldives in 2025, the track began as a simple, lighthearted exchange where Wink repeatedly declined sugar in his coffee from a persistent waiter. This everyday moment of comedy sparked a running gag that eventually evolved into a global songwriting inspiration. Originally debuted as an energetic track on his album Rock Bytes, the composition immediately connected with international listeners, prompting Wink to push its creative limits even further.
The resulting collection is a brilliant sonic showcase. The composition transforms seamlessly across multiple formats, morphing from its high-octane rock roots into a silky, intimate romantic ballad, a sun-drenched Hawaiian groove, and even an upbeat, feel-good line dance iteration. Each version functions as a distinct exploration of the song's personality, held together by pristine, state-of-the-art production value.
From a production standpoint, the project is exceptionally well-executed. Wink’s background in digital transformation allows him to blend human ingenuity with modern tools flawlessly, resulting in an array of mixes that feel cohesive yet distinctly tailored to their respective genres. The tonal balance across the different versions remains remarkably sharp, maintaining structural clarity whether driving a heavy rock guitar rhythm or settling into a delicate acoustic space. Ultimately, it is a highly inventive, playful package that leaves audiences with a fantastic question: which flavor of this musical sugar rush is their favorite?

L.L.L. (ATH remix)
EDM
Fresh off a massive debut that garnered over two million views and extensive press acclaim, electronic artist m0n0 jay has returned with a spectacular new rendition of her track "L.L.L." re-envisioned by French producer ATH (Arthur Conseil). Officially dropping exactly 69 days after the original master, this release takes m0n0 jay's signature "powerlifter glitter gym pop" philosophy and drags it straight down into the deep underground.
The ATH remix is a masterclass in high-energy EDM pop production, striking a brilliant balance between polished studio craftsmanship and raw, unrelenting rave intensity. Pushing a relentless pace of over 135 BPM, the track completely shatters conventional pop structures. Instead, it pairs m0n0 jay’s piercing, soaring soprano vocals with an incredibly heavy, abrasive bassline that hits with a beautifully fancy, sophisticated edge. The tonal balance here is completely spot on; the mix handles the chaotic blend of glitter and grit flawlessly, ensuring the heavy industrial textures never muddy the brilliant pop hooks.
It is an intensely physical track that seamlessly bridges the gap between candy-colored gym motivation and the sweaty, dark reality of a 3:00 AM basement rave. ATH has done a spectacular job keeping the mix perfectly balanced while maximizing its club-ready impact. The sheer momentum and crisp mastering give it a massive, commanding presence that will easily shake any sound system.
Ultimately, this remix is an absolute powerhouse. It represents pop music as pure power and unfiltered movement, rather than just a polite performance. With its relentless rhythm, massive low-end, and sophisticated electronic layers, I can definitely see this track becoming an absolute banger on the dancefloor. Turn the volume all the way up for this one.

INDIE FOLK
"Candlelight" by Meelu is a standout track that effortlessly balances a raw, indie aesthetic with a sophisticated pop flair. Right from the start, the vibe is incredibly immersive, but it’s the vocal performance that really steals the show. There is a specific quality to the tone—sitting somewhere in that sweet spot between the cinematic moodiness of Lana Del Rey and the relatability of Olivia Rodrigo—that feels both classic and very "now."
The arrangement is where this song truly shines. It is exceptionally well-structured, with builds that feel earned rather than forced. I particularly loved the use of background vocal "answers" around the 1:08 mark; it’s a clever production choice that creates a seamless transition and keeps the ear engaged. The chorus melody is undeniably catchy, hitting that contemporary pop mark while keeping an organic, almost raw texture that is so refreshing in today's landscape.

Betty Moon
Hunger Pain
Alt Pop
With "Hunger Pain," Betty Moon continues to prove why she’s a mainstay in the indie-alternative scene. Coming off her new EP Strangely Beautiful, this track perfectly captures that signature "Alt-Pop Visionary" label. It’s got a grit to it that feels like a nod to her 90s Toronto rock roots, but it’s wrapped in the kind of sophisticated electronic textures you’d expect from a self-produced LA artist in 2026.
The production on this single is incredibly polished. There’s a brooding, atmospheric energy that manages to stay high-stakes without feeling cluttered. The low-end is thick and grounded, which provides a great contrast to Betty’s vocal performance—which sounds as confident and commanding as ever. It definitely has that "cinematic" quality that has landed her music on shows like Dexter and The Walking Dead in the past.
For some constructive feedback, because the track leans into such a mood-heavy, "hunger" theme, I’d love to hear a bit more of an aggressive dynamic shift in the final third. It’s a very consistent, mid-tempo burn, but pushing the live drums or adding some distorted synth layers toward the end could heighten that sense of "pain" or desperation the title suggests. Making the climax feel a bit more chaotic would really push the emotional payoff.
Technically, the mix is very "forward" and clean. If you wanted to experiment, adding a touch of analog saturation to the vocal bus could give it just a bit more of that vintage "rock" heat to balance out the modern digital precision.
Overall, it’s a standout moment on the EP. It balances that "fierce independence" Betty is known for with a sound that is undeniably catchy and radio-ready. It’s great to see her back with original material that feels this vital.

You’ve nailed that Country-Pop crossover tone, and the production fits the genre perfectly. The storytelling is clear and relatable, really capturing that everyday grind of the working life. Holding On
POP-EDM
The vibe on Holding On is spot on. Jeraphic really nailed that EDM-Pop crossover sound; it has that genuine "song of the summer" energy that would feel right at home on a festival stage or a big playlist. Sonically, the production is already quite tight and punchy, and to my ear, it checks all the professional boxes for the genre.
I especially like how he handled the transitions between the verses and the choruses. The build-up around the 35-second mark is handled really well, and that instrumental drop at 1:37 right before the chorus hits is a great touch that keeps the momentum moving.
To push things even further, I’d love to hear some more variation as the track progresses. While it is very solid, it could benefit from a more climactic finish. Adding some extra production layers or a bit more rhythmic movement toward the end would create a bigger payoff for the listener.
I also think the vocals could be elevated just a touch more to match the energy of the track. It would be interesting to hear some extra harmonies or vocal doubles in specific sections to really thicken the sound and lift the production during those high-energy moments.
Overall, it is super well-made and the polish is definitely there. I am looking forward to hearing more from Jeraphic!

Produced by previous collaborator Jamie Sellers (platinum selling producer, with credits including Ed Sheeran and Elton John) ‘The Middle’ is a sparkly, candid reflection on what could have been.

The Peter Debik Movie Orchestra
A Touch of Ember - Theme Song
Peter Rolf Michael Debik, born in Frankfurt/Main in 1970, son of opera singers Edith and Hans-Joachim Debik. After moving to Berlin (West) in 1978, he attended the British-German Charles Dickens Elementary, then the Erich Hoepner High (today the Heinz Berggrün High), which was characterized by music, art and film. A year in the USA in 1987/88 he graduated with a US high school diploma. In 1990 he passed the German Abitur, in 1992 he completed his professional training as a bank clerk and in 2002 he received a master's degree from the Technical University of Berlin with top grades in communication science and linguistics. Although Debik grew up with music "backstage" and attended a music high school he rejected a conventional musical education because of the associated narrow thinking. Two years of piano lessons were a declaration of war on a musical freedom fighter and synaesthete, who found sight reading to be boring "painting by numbers". Instead, Debik can not only hear individual voices from works and immediately replay them, but because of his synaesthesia he can also transform mental cinema into new compositions and decorate them with complex harmonies. He coined: "Notes are only the manufacturer's non-binding serving suggestion, as he thinks his work should be played." Since the turn of the millennium, Debik has developed his second job from hobby compositions and today produces songs, instrumentals and cues for TV and film under pseudonyms.

My thoughts on "She'll Never Be My Girl" by Jay Malla
There is such a refreshing, organic soul to this track that really stands out. The production on She'll Never Be My Girl feels alive, and that authentic band driven energy is exactly what this kind of songwriting needs. I am a huge fan of the guitar work here because you just cannot beat a well executed solo, and this one hits the spot perfectly.
The story has a great trajectory, and I love the little production touches that bring the narrative to life. The call and response between the man and the girl in the chorus is a brilliant move as it adds so much depth and character to the mix. Plus, those "Oooh" parts in the bridge section are working beautifully to lift the song right when it needs it.

This is a fantastic debut for Sakiru. Starlight captures that late-night energy perfectly, and the city-pop influence gives it a really cool, nostalgic shimmer that fits the indie-pop genre well. I love the way the song builds throughout the track; the contrast between those soft, introspective verses and the more urgent, emotional chorus is executed beautifully.
The production does a great job of staying minimal and atmospheric, allowing the vocal phrasing to really carry the weight of the lyrics. It feels very intimate, which clearly aligns with the goals for this new project.

As with the previous song I heard from him, the guitar work is absolutely stellar. That organic touch is becoming a real signature for him, and the guitar solo in this track is another highlight that brings a lot of soul to the production. The overall vibe is very cohesive, and those background vocals in the final section do a fantastic job of lifting the energy right at the end.

The indie vibe on this track is really captivating. There is a beautiful simplicity to the arrangement that allows the vocals to take center stage. Additionally, the music video works really well with the track, capturing that same intimate and visual energy that the song evokes.

My thoughts on Reset by Virtual Sound Tour
The energy on Reset is a great surprise. The way it blends that upbeat Ska vibe with a distinct Latin touch is really well done and gives the track a lot of infectious personality. It’s a fantastic example of how vibrant and fun this type of production can be.
Sonically, the foundation is very strong. I really like the tone of the drums, though if I were to be picky, the kick drum could benefit from a bit more warmth to help it feel more grounded. Overall, I’d love to hear a slightly more open tone across the mix to give the horns and percussion even more room to breathe.
To help with that clarity, you can try creating a "vocal pocket" in the instrumental. By applying a subtle, wide cut in the instrumental mix(usually around 1kHz to 3kHz).you can clear out the clutter and let the lead elements sit right in the center without fighting the guitars or horns.
My main piece of constructive feedback is regarding the arrangement. I would love to see more variation as the song progresses, especially toward the end. Creating a stronger build-up and a definitive climax would give the track that "big finish" energy that makes this genre really pop.
Additionally, since this is aimed toward a sun-soaked summer pop vibe, I think the song could be edited a bit shorter. Keeping it under 3 minutes would help maintain a high level of energy. You can achieve this by using some "radio edit" cut points—like shortening the second verse or the transition into the bridge.to get to that final high-energy chorus faster. This leaves the listener wanting to hit replay immediately.
Overall, it’s an impressive and catchy track. I’m definitely curious to see where Virtual Sound Tour takes this sound next!

My thoughts on No Second by Angelzoom
The cinematic atmosphere of No Second is truly impressive. Right from the start, the dark electronic vibe sets a powerful stage, and the production feels very intentional in its storytelling. The music video also does a fantastic job of mirroring that visual narrative, making the whole project feel cohesive and professionally directed.

Dax
God, Can You Hear Me?
My thoughts on God, Can You Hear Me? by Dax
The energy on God, Can You Hear Me? is incredibly moving. Right away, the sheer power of the vocals and the weight of the lyrics hit home. I specifically love the blend Dax achieves here.
Movng seamlessly from sharp rapping to singing beautifully. It shows a lot of versatility and keeps the listener engaged with the narrative as it unfolds.
The piano production works perfectly with the overall vibe, providing a somber, elegant foundation. It’s a very well-defined production where the energy matches the lyrics perfectly as the song builds up. One of my favorite aspects is the vocal production; there is so much great "ear candy" tucked into the mix, and those subtle echoes really make the lyrics shine.
If I were to offer one piece of constructive criticism, it would be that the track is on the longer side.
For example, that massive chorus that comes in around the 4:10 mark is such a high point.
I would have loved to hear that energy hit a bit earlier in the arrangement to hook the listener even sooner.
To achieve this, you could use some "radio edit" techniques, like slightly condensing the second verse or shortening the intro to get to the emotional peaks faster.
Besides that, everything works really well. It’s a powerful, polished piece of work, and the balance between the intimate piano and the expansive vocal effects is spot on. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what Dax drops next.

2:00 AM
Pop
"2AM" is an exceptionally strong production that immediately establishes itself as a high-caliber contender in the modern pop landscape. The overall tone and vibe are expertly curated; one can clearly hear the influence of Maroon 5 and Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) woven into the DNA of the track. This isn't just a surface-level resemblance; it’s a deep understanding of how to craft a soulful, rhythmic pop song that feels both intimate and expansive. The writing and production style lend the track a polished, "radio-ready" sheen that is often difficult to achieve in independent releases.
The production functions seamlessly within the pop genre, successfully capturing that elusive Modern Top 40 essence. It avoids the common pitfall of over-cluttering the arrangement, instead opting for a "less is more" approach that prioritizes the groove and the vocal delivery. It is, quite honestly, one of the most well-crafted tracks I have encountered in this specific lane recently. The balance between the electronic elements and the organic feel of the instrumentation suggests a high level of technical proficiency and a keen ear for contemporary trends.
Technical & Production Feedback
From a technical standpoint, the mix architecture is very impressive. The low-end management is tight, allowing the kick and bass to lock together without muddying the lower-mid frequencies—a crucial element for any track aiming for a commercial pop sound. The vocal production is equally commendable; the lead vocal sits perfectly "in front" of the mix, while the supporting layers and harmonies provide a lush bed that enhances the emotional weight of the lyrics without distracting from the main narrative.
However, when we look at the arrangement and energy mapping, there is room for further optimization to truly maximize the song's impact. Clocking in at approximately two minutes, "2AM" is a lean, punchy track, but it risks feeling slightly "truncated" for the listener. To elevate this from a strong track to a definitive "hit," I would suggest focusing on the final third of the song.
Currently, the song maintains a very consistent energy level. To provide that "extra lift" before the track wraps up, consider the following:
The Bridge as an Emotional Pivot: Adding a brief 8-bar bridge could serve as a vital palette cleanser. By stripping back the drums and introducing a new melodic motif or a shift in the harmonic progression, you create a moment of tension that makes the final chorus feel like a massive release.
Instrumentation Variation: For the final chorus, you might consider "stacking" the production. This could involve adding high-frequency percussion (like a 16th-note shaker or a subtle tambourine), introducing a new synth pad for additional width, or even a subtle "call and response" guitar line. This ensures the final hook feels larger than the ones preceding it.
The "Radio Edit" Mindset: While short songs are trending due to streaming algorithms, they still need a definitive "climax." Ensuring that the final chorus has a slight change in the drum pattern or an added vocal ad-lib layer can provide the listener with a sense of completion.
Strategic Direction
Regarding the stylistic lane, this is an absolutely fantastic direction for the Adam Swift project. The synergy between soulful pop melodies and high-end, clean production style is a major "sweet spot" for today's market. It bridges the gap between the authenticity of a singer-songwriter and the high-energy demands of a commercial pop playlist.
The technical execution of the mix ensures that the "intent" of the song is never lost—the balance is bold, the creative decisions feel deliberate, and the translation across different listening environments is likely very consistent. If the project continues to lean into this blend of rhythmic precision and melodic soul, there is a very clear path toward significant growth. Everything here works incredibly well, and I am genuinely looking forward to seeing how these production techniques evolve in future releases from Adam Swift.
The production works perfectly within the pop genre, successfully capturing that modern Top 40 essence. It’s honestly one of the better-crafted tracks I’ve heard in this lane recently.
Everything I have to say about the song is positive. The only thing I would possibly suggest is adding a bit more variation toward the end. Since the song is only about 2 minutes long, it could really benefit from an additional bridge or a slight change in instrumentation for the final chorus to give it that extra lift before it wraps up.
Regarding the stylistic lane, I think this is a fantastic direction for the project. The blend of soulful pop melodies with a high-end production style is a major sweet spot.
Looking forward to hearing more from Adam Swift!

How Did This Happen?
Pop
"How Did This Happen?" has a great vibe that leans a bit more into the pop/alternative space than straight-up rock. It’s a refreshing change of pace, and I really appreciate the overall energy and the "raw" feel of the track in this current era of highly processed AI music.
The song is really good overall. For some constructive feedback, I think the vocals could be mixed a bit tighter to help them sit more prominently in the track. Additionally, making the arrangement feel a bit more open-sounding could really give the production some extra room to breathe.
Looking forward to hearing more from Kiey!

Romy Carvin
Bad Limerence
Pop
"Bad Limerence" is an exceptionally strong production that signals a clear understanding of the current pop landscape. Romy Carvin’s overall tone and artistic vibe are the immediate standouts here; she has captured that specific Taylor Swift-inspired energy—characterized by conversational intimacy and soaring, melodic hooks—with remarkable precision. This stylistic choice works perfectly for the track, grounding the song in a relatable emotional space while maintaining the high-gloss finish required for a modern pop contender.
The production is highly effective, successfully leaning into a Top 40 sound without losing its soul. It is honestly one of the better-crafted pop songs I’ve encountered recently in this specific lane. The way the track captures the essence of a modern hit—from the rhythmic "heartbeat" of the arrangement to the crystalline clarity of the vocal—is truly impressive and suggests a high level of intentionality in the creative process.
Technical & Production Feedback
From a technical perspective, the track’s strength lies in its vocal architecture. In a production like this, the vocal must act as the primary instrument, and the mix honors that. The lead is crisp, with just enough air in the high-end to feel modern, while the "ear candy" and subtle vocal layers add a necessary sense of depth. The compression feels consistent, keeping Romy’s performance "locked" in front of the listeners' ears even as the instrumentation swells.
The frequency balance is also quite professional. The low-mid region, which often becomes cluttered in synth-heavy pop, feels carved out and clean, allowing the snare and the transient details of the production to cut through the mix. This level of clarity ensures that the track will translate well across a variety of listening environments, from high-end studio monitors to standard car speakers.
However, to push this production from "strong" to "undeniable," there is an opportunity to refine the energy mapping of the final act. To keep the listener fully engaged and provide a definitive payoff, consider these technical adjustments:
Dynamic Variation in the Final Chorus: To prevent the final chorus from feeling like a carbon copy of the second, I would suggest "stacking" the arrangement. This could be achieved by introducing a new rhythmic element—perhaps a driving 8th-note synth bass or a more aggressive percussion layer—to give the song a sense of forward motion.
Harmonic Expansion: Introducing counter-melodies or "call and response" vocal ad-libs in the final 30 seconds can act as powerful hooks that reward the listener for reaching the end of the track. These subtle additions create a sense of "height" that the earlier sections of the song don't have.
The "Drop" Technique: Consider a brief "moment of silence" or a low-pass filter sweep right before the final chorus hits. By momentarily sucking the energy out of the room, the re-entry of the full arrangement feels significantly more massive, providing that "lift" that characterizes the best commercial pop.
Strategic & Creative Direction
Regarding the stylistic lane, this is a fantastic direction for the Romy Carvin project. The crossover between vulnerable, relatable songwriting and polished, high-end pop production is a major "sweet spot" in the industry right now. It allows the artist to build a deep connection with the audience while remaining viable for major editorial playlists and radio play.
The technical execution of the mix suggests a "less is more" philosophy where every element has a purpose. By maintaining this level of intent and continuing to make bold creative decisions in the arrangement, the project is well-positioned for significant growth. "Bad Limerence" is a powerful, polished piece of work, and I am genuinely looking forward to hearing how Romy and her production team continue to evolve this sound.

"Worth It"
Pop
"Worth It" is a very strong production. I really enjoy Thomas Bruggemann’s overall tone and vibe throughout the track.
The production is highly effective, successfully capturing the essence of a modern Top 40 hit and working perfectly within the genre. It is honestly one of the better-crafted pop songs I’ve heard recently in this style.
Everything I have to say about the track is positive. The only minor adjustment I would consider is adding a bit more variation toward the end. Since the song is fairly long, you might try either changing the instrumentation for the final chorus or shortening the overall runtime by about 20 to 40 seconds to keep the energy tight.
Looking forward to hearing more from him!

"Motion"
"Motion" has a fantastic synth-pop energy that immediately caught my ear. I can definitely hear some of those "The Weeknd" vibes in the production, which gives the track a really sleek and modern feel. It’s refreshing to hear a song with this much character in an era where so much music feels overly AI-generated.
The track is really good overall and has a great atmosphere. For some constructive feedback, I think the production could benefit from a slightly more open-sounding mix to really let those synth layers and textures breathe. Additionally, I feel like the track could possibly be a bit shorter to keep the momentum tight and the energy high throughout.
Regarding the stylistic lane, I think this is a very strong direction for the project. The blend of nostalgic synth textures with a modern pop sensibility feels very current and hits a great sweet spot for the genre. It’s a lane that definitely has a lot of potential for growth.
Looking forward to hearing more from Alexandre!

Sinatic x Meeduza
Almost Yours
Pop
"Almost Yours" is a sleek slice of contemporary pop that immediately grabs attention with its polished production and infectious energy. As a collaboration between Sinatic and Meeduza, the track leans into a sophisticated, club-ready sound while maintaining the melodic accessibility that defines a modern radio hit. From the opening notes, the synth work feels both atmospheric and purposeful, setting a moody yet driving foundation that keeps the listener locked in. It is a masterclass in how to blend the "vibe-heavy" aesthetics of late-night electronic music with the structural demands of the pop genre.
The chemistry between the two artists shines through the song's rhythmic structure. While many pop tracks fall into predictable patterns, "Almost Yours" expertly plays with tension and release. The use of a pulsating bassline to bridge the gap between its vulnerable lyrical themes and its high-energy drop is particularly effective. The vocal performance is a standout, delivering a sense of longing that feels authentic, ensuring that the track resonates on an emotional level even as it demands you move to the beat.
Technical & Production Feedback
From a technical perspective, the production on "Almost Yours" is exceptionally well-balanced. The stereo imaging is wide and immersive, with atmospheric pads and "ear candy" tucked into the sides of the mix, while the kick drum and bass remain firmly "phantom center" to provide the necessary weight for a club environment. The transient response on the percussion is sharp, cutting through the dense synth layers without being harsh—a sign of careful frequency carving and high-quality sample selection.
The vocal production deserves specific praise. The "dry/wet" balance is handled with great intent; the intimate verses feel close and personal, while the chorus vocals expand into a more ethereal space using well-timed delays and reverbs. This creates a sense of "movement" throughout the track that keeps the listener’s ear from becoming fatigued.
To further elevate this production and push it into a "Top Tier" commercial bracket, I would suggest focusing on the dynamic transition between the final breakdown and the last chorus:
Sub-Bass Management & "The Drop": While the transition to the drop is effective, you could maximize the impact by using a "high-pass filter sweep" or a momentary "silence" right before the final kick hits. By briefly thinning out the low end in the bar preceding the chorus, the re-introduction of the sub-bass will feel much more physically impactful, giving the song that "massive" feeling listeners expect in a club-pop context.
Arrangement Evolution: Since the track relies heavily on its infectious synth motif, adding a "layering" effect in the final section could prevent the arrangement from feeling static. Introducing a rhythmic pluck or a distorted lead synth during the final 30 seconds would provide a new "hook" for the listener to latch onto, ensuring the track ends on a high note.
Automation for Interest: Small technical touches, like automating the "wash" of a reverb on a specific vocal phrase or slightly increasing the "grit" (saturation) on the bassline as the song progresses, can add a layer of sophistication. This creates a sense of "organic growth" within a digital production.
Strategic & Creative Direction
Overall, this release solidifies Sinatic's reputation for high-quality, genre-blending pop. It manages to feel current without being derivative, carving out a space that is as suitable for a late-night drive as it is for a crowded dance floor. The "mix-as-you-go" philosophy seems evident here—there is a clear sense of creative intent where every sound has been chosen for its specific role in the frequency spectrum.
For fans of the genre, "Almost Yours" is a refreshing addition to their playlists—a testament to what happens when sharp songwriting meets top-tier electronic production. The crossover potential here is significant; by bridging the gap between the vulnerability of a pop lyric and the energy of the electronic scene, Sinatic and Meeduza have found a "sweet spot" that is likely to see strong rotation in both digital and live settings. I am genuinely looking forward to seeing how this collaboration influences the next evolution of their sound.

pop
Elise has an amazing vocal tone and a great vibe overall. "Mirror Mirror" has a nice flow and direction, and the production style fits the genre well.
Constructive Criticism:
While I like the overall vibe, the instrumentation feels a bit "busy" for my taste. Specifically, the drums feel a bit too aggressive and present, which clashes slightly with the relaxed feel of the track. At times, the production has so much going on that it almost outshines the vocals.
I would love to hear the vocals treated as the true star of the song, keeping the instrumentation more minimal to let her voice shine. It’s a solid song and production overall, and I’m looking forward to hearing more from Elise!

Lara Mae
Snow
electronic pop/DnB
Let me start by saying that I really enjoyed listening through this whole song.
In a genre often crowded with heavy production, Lara Mae’s "Snow" stands out through subtraction.
By leaning into a minimal electronic landscape, she allows the "vocal-led" promise of the track to truly shine.
The DnB influence is subtle rather than overbearing, acting as a heartbeat for the song's exploration of emotional tension. It’s a sophisticated piece of indie-electronic pop that prioritizes space and intimacy over flashy drops, making it a must-add for late-night or "chill-focus" curation.
What to give a bit of constructive criticism I would say that the song being on the longer side I did appreciate having dad bridge transition towards the last half of the song.
But it felt like it took a while to get there if that makes sense
I would kind of enjoy hearing that's part of the song earlier if that makes sense I know sometimes it's difficult to cut anything out but if there is an option, I think the listener would really enjoy listening to that bridge section.
In that same vein of thought I would say that adding a bit more variation possibly extra effects for transition between section would greatly enhance the vibe.
Possibly adding some ear candy and things here and there would be really cool as well.
But overall I really enjoyed listening to it and I'm looking forward to hearing more from her. Thank you for sharing your music with me.

A career-defining moment came in 2023, when the Foo Fighters personally invited them to open at Montreal’s Verdun Auditorium. That upward trajectory continued with LES SHIRLEY joining Jimmy Eat World on their 2025 European tour. Rooted in lived experience, LES SHIRLEY’s catalogue draws power from feminist rage and a refusal to stay silent on a long list of issues including human rights, racism, and identity, reflecting the band’s perspective as members of the LGBTQ+ community and navigating a chaotic, inequitable world.
