My thoughts on God, Can You Hear Me? by Dax
The energy on God, Can You Hear Me? is incredibly moving. Right away, the sheer power of the vocals and the weight of the lyrics hit home. I specifically love the blend Dax achieves here.
Movng seamlessly from sharp rapping to singing beautifully. It shows a lot of versatility and keeps the listener engaged with the narrative as it unfolds.

The piano production works perfectly with the overall vibe, providing a somber, elegant foundation. It’s a very well-defined production where the energy matches the lyrics perfectly as the song builds up. One of my favorite aspects is the vocal production; there is so much great "ear candy" tucked into the mix, and those subtle echoes really make the lyrics shine.

If I were to offer one piece of constructive criticism, it would be that the track is on the longer side.
For example, that massive chorus that comes in around the 4:10 mark is such a high point.
I would have loved to hear that energy hit a bit earlier in the arrangement to hook the listener even sooner.
To achieve this, you could use some "radio edit" techniques, like slightly condensing the second verse or shortening the intro to get to the emotional peaks faster.
Besides that, everything works really well. It’s a powerful, polished piece of work, and the balance between the intimate piano and the expansive vocal effects is spot on. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what Dax drops next.
